PROGRAM
Sunday: "our" Rosa, Alagna Macugnaga. The first day of our trek will take place in front of the South East wall of Monte Rosa, the "iceberg" according to the true origin of its name. The meeting will be at 6.30 to the town hall of Alagna and after a short bus transfer, we walk in the Park Alta Valsesia, the highest in Europe. Along a trail will reach the impressive Turlo Pass (2738 m), the "gate" used by Walser populations to move between these valleys. From here will go down in Val Quarazza and, after a stop at the beautiful Lake of the Fairies reach the valley floor, where we wait for the hotel this evening. Monday: between Rosa and the Matterhorn, from Macugnaga in Saas Fee and Zermatt. He goes to Switzerland! Bracket studs reach the central village of Macugnaga. Walser crossed the charming village, with the ancient and monumental lime Dorf symbol of the country, will go up by cable car at Passo di Monte Moro. On the opposite side of the valley is the east face of Monte Rosa, the highest in the Alps! Reached the pass (2868 m) and the latest photos taken we will start the descent towards the lake Mattmark in the valley of Saas. Even down to Saas Grund and Saas Fee in here in short, a beautiful car-free village surrounded by glaciers. After visiting the country a minibus will take us to Zermatt, with the most famous mountain panorama of the world: the Matterhorn! Tuesday, the most famous rock in Europe, from Zermatt to Teodulo. A stage all uphill, with the constant companionship of the mountain symbol of Switzerland and the Alps We will leave from the village to go to beautiful surroundings decorated with small speakers and old wooden barns still in use today. The Matterhorn, Matterhorn called here, will be very close, with impressive walls and North East. When you reach the cable car station of Trockener Steg meet a mountain guide with whom to go up the glacier to the 3317-meter Teodulo Refuge Point più alto del nostro Tour. Giunti quasi al fondo del vallone risaliremo leggermente, sfilando sotto allo splendido versante del Rosa di Ayas, Breithorn by the twins Castor and Pollux, all peaks over four thousand meters. You will then arrive in the ancient village of Resy Walser (2072 m), where she awaits the refuge for the night. Thursday: at the foot of Lyskamm from the Resy Gabiet. Today our "journey" begins with a convenient dirt road that leads to Bettaforca Col (2672 m), crossing the historic link between the high valleys of Gressoney and Ayas. In the distance you can see the Gran Paradiso, while above the two Lyskamm devolve upon us, yet another gem in the crown of four thousand meters Rosa. Always follow a dirt road descending to Santa Anna and Stafal (1825 m), following the main the valley that was home for many years of vacations Regina Margherita. From here go up the opposite side along a steep path that will bring us up to Gabiet Refuge (2357 m), near the homonymous lake and spend the night. Friday: Closing the circle, from a Otro Gabiet and Alagna. It is the last day's walk. To end our tour and return in Valsesia we propose a variant. We will leave here the way of the Col d'Olen, marked by the ski lifts on both sides, to go up instead the lonely Passo Zube (2874 m). Here appear the slope of the Valsesia Rosa, who will keep us company during the descent to Otro, balcony suspended above Alagna and intact gioiello di architettura Walser.

4. un trekking ti insegna ad apprezzare le cose semplici: good food, fresh water, the fire in the evening
5. a trek that will teach you the slow speed can be much better
6. teaches you a trek that silence says a lot more noise
7. a trek is always a great experience of friendship

GETTING : exit Romagnano Sesia - Ghemme the A26 motorway. Take direction Varallo - Alagna and back across the valley to reach the village of Alagna Valsesia. At the beginning of the village turn right along the ring after only a few hundred meters you will find on the left, the town hall. The meeting is set for 6.30.
