Give to those who asks you, and those who wish to borrow not turn away.
You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy, but I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so you may be sons of your heavenly Father, who makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and the unjust.
if you love those who love you, what reward will you? Do not even i pubblicani?
E se date il saluto soltanto ai vostri fratelli, che cosa fate di straordinario? Non fanno così anche i pagani?
Siate voi dunque perfetti come è perfetto il Padre vostro celeste. (Mt 5,28-48)
